In addition to my full-time job as a senior researcher and lab manager, I have been NYUAD’s campus cats caretaker since 2018. I am an active advocate for animal welfare (specifically for stray and abandoned cats) since 2013 and has developed an interest in developing, promoting, and enforcing welfare policies in educational institutions, a rich environment where spreading awareness and policies can lead to a powerful and more lasting impact in society.
